Set atop Sand Mountain, Alabama, SOME MILLION MILES presents a meditation on loss and the search for redemption amid a rural landscape of abundant beauty and deep poverty. Through a series of confessional vignettes, we meet Chico, Alice, and Misty, whose lives have been shaped by systemic marginalization, domestic violence, and methamphetamine use.
